PINK FANTASY or DARK FANTASY?

   Not so long ago a girl group made their comeback that is really different as compared to other groups. PINK FANTASY  a girl group by Mydoll Entertainment who debuted on 24 October 2018 with the song Iriwa has made a comeback with "Fantasy". 

This girl group has 9 members, namely Aini, Sanga, SeeA, Heesun, Yechan, Arang, Yubin and Harin, And the thing that separates this group from any other group is because of Daewang, a hidden member of the group that wears a rabbit mask all the time. According to sources, Daewang will reveal herself when they'll receive their first win.

So, coming to the track, Fantasy is really dark and feels like a real fantasy world. There is a lot going on in the track, with Sanga uttering the first line of the track "It grows out of control in the glitzy lights", that is just how we would feel in our fantasies, once you are in the world of your fantasy it will just become bigger and bigger and will swallow you in it. And the next line by Aini "There's no turning back now".

And it's just the starting of the track, The second part of the song will get you to think deep and dark  with Yechan's lines "We can't go any further in an endless tunnel", and Arang's line "You're gonna stand on the edge of a fallen cliff and blame me". Fantasies are often dark but this is darker & will make you stay in this never-ending fantasy. 

And the best line that caught my eye was by SeeA "Don't try to get everything you've chosen". And Yechan's "The more you hold it, the more you spread it through the cracks in your hand" and the high note after this line is fascinating. And will take you in this fantasy. 

Coming to the music video, you may feel it like anime but real. As mentioned already it is going to dark, it starts with a flower and a few black glasses hung upside-down, and then comes the girls in their staring pose for the track & then you'll get to see the mastermind, Daewang sitting on a chair with a stick in her hand, wearing a white and black dress with a bit scary rabbit mask in a dark room.

Even though in a dark concept all the members look really stunning and that's the reason why we fall in fantasies. It often feels like a horror suspense movie, that has all these ghosts going around the haunted house and scaring people.

And the choreo in the music video is also great, it's not too much nor too little, gives great support to the theme and Daewang always stays at the back while others dance in the front and it's often told that Daewang controls the members of the group (Scary but true).

While most of the time PINK FANTASY is compared with Dreamcatcher, they have made their mark in the industry and hope they will get a win soon.
