Everyone
knows how much you love your Oppa/Noona (Not only idols but your irl friends
too). So how can you express your feelings for them? More specifically, isn’t
it better to say it with some Aegyo?
Aegyo? Yeah Aegyo. Aegyo (애교) is a Korean word that refers to a cute display of affection often expressed but not limited to through a cute / baby voice, facial expression, and gestures.
So this course of you expressing your aegyo is divided into 3 parts: Beginner, Intermediate and Expert.
Let’s go go

*YAY* |
BEGINNER
· Bbuing bbuing
“Bbuing Bbuing” is an absolutely basic
aegyo move and very easy to master, you just need to fold your fist, put it on
your cheeks and scratch like a kitten with the most innocent baby face you can
make.
“Bbuing Bbuing” is one of the oldest and
yet popular till date and could grab your favorite person’s attention in a blink
of a second.

INTERMEDIATE
· Cheeseburger
If you think
cheeseburgers are only famous in the
West then you are absolutely wrong, Koreans love cheeseburgers even in their aegyos. Cheeseburger is again one of the oldest aegyo and highly popular.
· I dreamt of ghost
“I dreamt of ghost” is the cutest baby
aegyo ever. This aegyo was actually created by a cute little girl who had a
nightmare and told about it to her mom in the cutest way ever known to the
human kind.
She said “I had a dream. I dreamt of ghost, and it was scary”
You can also
sing songs to express your aegyo!
SONGS
· Oppaya
“Oppaya” is the best way to start
expressing your feelings because the whole concept of “Oppaya” is to tell your Oppa / Noona about you starting to have feelings
for someone (Which is them) and how much you are affected by them that you hear
their voices non-stop even if they are not around.
Lyrics:
“Oppaya, I
have this guy that I really like,
I was
keeping it quiet
But I felt I
had to tell someone,
So I’m
calling you,
I keep
seeing his face, that handsome face
I keep
hearing his suave voice”
· Eottokhae / Ottokhae (What should I
do?)
Once you
tell him/her about your feelings, it’s time to ask your Oppa/ Noona out on a
date and this aegyo song is going to help you do that. This song starts with
compliment that will make your Oppa /Noona blush and impress them easily.
Lyrics:
“I like you
so much,
Eottokhae Eottokhae? (What should I do?)
You are so
pretty,
Eottokhae
Eottokhae? (What should I do?)
Would you
like to go out with me?
What do you
think about it?
Don’t say
anything, just answer me that you like me”
UwU
· Yum Yum
And once you
are on your date, “Yum Yum” song is
the best surprise aegyo attack that you can do for them. And it’s the best when
you are in a restaurant or a café having eating and drinking together.
(Don’t be
too sudden or else it might make him choke :P)
Lyrics:
“They say
I’m the prettiest when I eat, *Yum Yum*
They say I’m
the cuter than anyone else *aegyo* *aing*
My chubby
belly *Aegyo*
Belongs to
you from now *aegyo*”
*Blushes*
Let’s move
to next one
· Naekkohae (Be mine)
So now after
you date, you need to confess your love and Naekkohae
is going to help you a lot. “Naekkohae”
literally means “Be mine” and “let’s become close and stay together like a
couple”.
(And if you
are going to use this I recommend you to make nicknames for your partner to use
it in this song)
Lyrics:
“Can I call
you ‘Hey’?
May I say
you’re mine?
We need a
nickname which we know only *Nicknames*
Now become
mine not ‘Hey’ ”
· Gwiyomi
And once you
become an official couple and everything is going fine, it’s time to start
planning for your kids *Ahem* Planning for their education, how you are going
to teach them, especially maths. Surprisingly there is an answer for this, “Gwiyomi” song will teach them about
basics of maths with loads of aegyo.
Lyrics:
“1+1 =
Gwiyomi *Aegyo*
2+2 =
Gwiyomi *Aegyo*
3+3 =
Gwiyomi *Aegyo*
4+4 =
Gwiyomi *Aegyo*
5+5 =
Gwiyomi *Aegyo*
6+6 =
*Kisses* Gwiyomi *Aegyo*”
EXPERT LEVEL
· Acrostic poem
Acrostic poem is not the easiest to master but if
you could master it then you are the Aegyo king!
What is an Acrostic poem? An acrostic poem is a poem in which the first letter (or a syllable or
word) of each line spells out a word, message, or the alphabet. (Wikipedia)
It’s never
easy to make a good acrostic poem and
if you try to add aegyo it’s even harder, but some idols can do it effortlessly
and if you can too them share them on Insta and tag us @Kkonversation.
