Cherry Bullet's comeback with a new lineup

Annyeonghaseyo! And a very happy belated Valentines' day to all. Today I'm going to talk about a girl group who have given cute songs this long, and now want to go a bit deep bass style. This comeback is thus a great start for them on their new take.

Just a few days back Cherry Bullet made their comeback with "Hands Up" and they are killin' 2020. Cherry Bullet made their debut in January 2019 with "Q&A", and then made a comeback in May with "Really Really". Then in December, FNC Entertainment announced that Mirae, Kokoro, and Linlin have left the group. "Hands Up" is, therefore, Cherry Bullet's first comeback with their new 7-member group.

"Hands Up" is a digital single released this Tuesday i.e 2020.02.11. The track's melody is inspired by Ludwig Van Beethoven's "Für Elise", which is a part of the track from the start till the end. With "Hands Up", Cherry Bullet has tried a new concept of backstreet style with a mix of hardcore choreography that hits the listeners satisfyingly.

"If we showcased our cherry-like lovey and energetic image last year, this time we tried to add some maturity," said Haeyoon at the group's media showcase in Seoul.

 MUSIC VIDEO:

The music video is clearly different from their last releases. Previously, they had showcased soft and cute concepts with fun and playful environment expressing love and affection. And with this comeback, they have tried to do something new, and made a song that is mature in its feel and has a classical sense.

The Music Video on its own is amazing to watch and has a futuristic feel that is maintained with the present. Cherry Bullet always adds a hi-tech gadget in its music videos, and this time, they have used VR glasses that are similar to the one last seen in "Really Really".

Coming to the choreo, this time they have put extra effort into the dance, since this track has a different theme with more energetic moves and requires more strength to execute such precise steps. The best part is probably at the line "Hit your knees" which is the main part of the song with the hook step. And this is going to be the most memorable part for everyone because of the whip slash which comes at this specific line, which makes it really dope!

And the outfit of the members has a modern style like office look, classy wear followed by backstreet style in the second half of the song, and all of them make them look stunning. And everyone looks gorgeous in the music video (IRL too).

LYRICS:

The lyrics have a completely different theme from their previous comebacks. These lyric makes whole sense to the music video. The lyrics speak of enjoying the atmosphere without worrying about what other people think about you (Normal words for Kpop fans XD).

AOA's Jimin, who is their senior labelmate at FNC Entertainment has participated in writing the lyrics from "Hands Up". Yuju had said, "She didn't just write lyrics but she also participated in directing the recording for the rap part".

With the help of a senior, Cherry Bullet has made a fantastic release this year. The lyrics express the real feeling of the members to try something new rather than a slow, cute concept. They say,

I'm bored with slow songs
Speed up the tempo
Give us something stronger Please
let me change the mood

And they have further added an affectionate mood to the song, expressing their feeling for a guy and teasing them
Hey there, What are you looking at?
Come here loveable
Boy don't you have a feeling?
I'm ready teasing you

And also telling them to be confident and not to feel shy to ask for dance because YOLO (You Only Live Once)

What about you What about you
What about me
Will you dance with me?
(I'll come on)
YOLO YOLO YOLO YOLO
There's no tomorrow

The best part

Hit your knees and hands up
Read the mood and stand up
What's the point of saying much?
Vroom Vroom
Let me start the car

With the whip slash, it’s phenomena. And this is very difficult and tricky part to use because this can either elevate the song or make it trash. But here it is – the star of the song!

So this was it for today, Hope you liked it! And hit the Subscribe button never miss an update. I'll see you in the next one!

Till then Annyong/Bye.

TWICE's new MV

TWICE NEW MV: "BREAKTHROUGH"             Twice has recently released their new song in their Japan's official Youtube channel named "Breakthrough". And the video looks absolutely stunning, even though the video is in Japanese still it would manage to attract the kpop fans around the globe. The MV has a cool vibrant color feel with the members looking absolute badass in black and white outfits. But this video still manages to show the best choreography by the girls and the beats with the hook step will get you moving on the floor. It's just really difficult to portray the aura of the girls, Jihyo has shown some really catchy moves that you will remember for the next 24hrs. I would suggest keeping your eyes on Jihyo.           This video has a giant radio player where these girls show the hook step of Breakthrough, that's when you realize this video has got the beats...

Get refreshed with LIMESODA

LIMESODA? It's not just a drink anymore it is a kpop girl group that debuted almost 2 years ago. Limesoda is a group under D Maker Entertainment with 3 members of Jangmi, Hyerim, and Seungji. Why LIMESODA? Because it means that they'll be as refreshing as lime and as sweet as the soda. Limesoda debuted in July 2017, with only 2 members Hyerim and Seungji. Jangmi was added to the squad in February 2019. Their debut song "ZZZ" is really cute and awesome but it didn't receive many views on youtube. And the same would go for this comeback too if people don't get to know them. Their latest release "WAVE" is just like a LIMESODA, it's refreshing and sweet, also it got a bit of spice in it that will get you kickin'. And the music video is sincha coool~. The music video starts confusingly, the first few seconds of the video would make you think to understand what type of song is it going to be. Then as soon as you see all the 3 members on ...
